Since 1996, YouthConnect has assisted over 17,000 youth and families across Boston. YouthConnect’s innovative and unique program model places licensed, clinical social workers in Boston police stations and provides violence prevention, intervention, advocacy, and community-based mental health services to young people and families involved in the criminal justice system.
YouthConnect’s proven clinical model allows our trained and dedicated staff to meet families where they’re at to provide them with the wraparound services needed to address the root causes of what led them to crisis and provide pathways to successful and fulfilling futures. For our youth, this can mean providing the support needed to ensure that their academic and out-of-school time needs are met or providing a teen’s parent/guardian with the support and resources needed to address issues related to truancy, delinquency, safety, substance abuse, victimization, school performance, and family functioning.
