Step up for youth, equity, and community at our inaugural Walk for Health Equity—a citywide event committed to closing the life expectancy and wellness gaps facing too many of our neighborhoods. Together, we’re walking for a future where every young person, regardless of zip code, has the opportunity to lead a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.

After the walk, join us for a celebration of health and hope, featuring free fitness activities, nutritious food trucks, community resources, and more.

Walk for health equity
Official Route
Join us at 10:00 AM at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common. Opening remarks will take place at 10:30 AM and the walk will begin at 11:00 AM.
Participants will walk along Tremont Street through the South End, continue down Shawmut Avenue, turn left onto Malcolm X Boulevard, and then turn right on Warren Street. The walk will conclude at the Yawkey Club of Roxbury with the Healthy Futures Fest.
