Shayna Seymour

Co-Anchor, WCVB's Chronicle and Emcee, BGCB's 2026 Annual Dinner

Shayna Seymour is an Emmy-winning journalist and co-anchor of WCVB’s nightly newsmagazine, Chronicle. She joined WCVB in 2006 and has held roles as a reporter, producer, and weekend EyeOpener co-anchor, with regular appearances on weekday evening newscasts. Shayna has earned multiple Emmy Awards, including consecutive wins from 2020–2025 in the Best Program–Host/Moderator/Correspondent category, as well as additional Emmys for co-hosting WCVB’s Holiday Lights telecast.

Her reporting covers human interest, lifestyle, entertainment, and arts stories throughout New England, and she has interviewed figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Ginger Zee. Shayna is also an active community leader, serving as emcee and moderator for organizations including the Boston MLK Breakfast and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. An Amherst native, she holds degrees from Spelman College and Syracuse University and lives outside Boston with her family.
